Paul C. Dougherty
President
Paul Dougherty is the Founder and President of Perseus Realty Capital. With 20 years in commercial real estate financial services, he has spent his career raising real estate capital for institutions, REITs, real estate operating companies and private investors. He has completed over 100 real estate transactions totaling more than $12 billion in the mid-Atlantic region.
Prior to founding Perseus Realty Capital, Mr. Dougherty served as managing director of the Northeast region of L.J. Melody/CBRE Capital Markets and as national director of the Finance and Capital Markets Group for Insignia/ESG, Inc.
Mr. Dougherty is active in professional affiliations including: PREA, Urban Land Institute, Economic Club of Washington, Real Estate Roundtable, Mortgage Bankers Association of America and National Multi-Family Housing Council. He serves on the Board of the First Tee of D.C., the Bank of Georgetown and the Starlight Children’s Foundation.
